The goal is to be finished each night at a time that makes it possible for everyone to enjoy the Chili Bowl.  We are going to do our best to keep the track in a "Loose Dirt" condition as much as possible. We may have to take more breaks to work on the track. This will of course dictate what time we get finished each day.

The new schedule we implemented last year worked very well and we were able to get done at a good time each night. This allowed racers the chance to go enjoy the Big Show down the street if they wanted or just have some time to relax after a great day of racing.

MAXIMUM TRAILER SIZE IS 16’ AND MUST BE LOADED IN DURING MONDAY TRAILER LOAD IN 2PM-5PM

EVENT INFORMATION:

As we continue to draw closer to our record breaking RC Chili Bowl.   I am sending this email to give some information about load in, motor tech and to find out how many trailers we will be having at this years event.   Trailer parking is the most difficult part of organizing this event and we absolutely need to know exactly how many trailers we will be having.   As it has been posted on the event website well before registration opened that the maximum size of trailers is 16’.  We do NOT have unlimited room for trailers. If you choose to bring a trailer, you are NOT guaranteed a spot for it. We will do our best to fit as many as possible in the main room. If we have to many, we will have to place them in the overflow area located in the space adjacent building next to our room.  This space is covered, but it is not heated.

Again, it is your decision to bring a trailer, it is not our responsibility to provide space for your trailer in the track area.

FOR THOSE OF YOU BRINGING TRAILERS.

Please DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.

Send a separate email to scottyernst@gmail.com Subject Line: TRAILERS AT RCCB

In this email. Please give me the names of all drivers pitting in the trailer as well as the size of trailer you will be bringing.

All trailer load in is on Monday from 2pm-5pm.  Depending on how our track build goes on Sunday, we may begin trailer load in earlier on Monday.  Once we load your trailer in, you are NOT allowed to setup your pit area until we begin racer load in at 5pm.

MOTOR TECH: As we have done for the past RCCB. We will have motor tech for the Midwest Modified Class and Wingless Sprint.  We will be checking all 10.5 motors and 13.5 motors used in the RCCB.  We will be opening Motor tech early this year at 2pm on Monday.  For those of you who will arrive early, you will be able to bring your motors into tech starting at 2pm to try and make this process easier for all of you and our goal is to get as many motors inspected by 8pm Monday.   Motor tech is very simple. Please bring your motor only to inspection. It must be removed from your car to have it inspected.  It does NOT have to be taken apart.  The approved motor list are posted on the rules page of the event website so make sure your motor is on the approved list.

We ask for everyone’s patience during the load in process as this is the most difficult part of the organization of this event and if we all work together, it will go very smooth.

We are all looking forward to seeing everyone next week for the 2019 RC Chili Bowl and hope you all have a safe trip.
